Siwan, Bihar: The Youth, Employment and Skill Development Department of the Bihar Government is organizing a one-day district-level job fair and career guidance mela on February 21 at Gandhi Maidan in Siwan. The event aims to provide meaningful employment opportunities for both technically and non-technically qualified youth from across the district.
Scheduled to run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the mela will bring together a wide range of government departments and private companies, offering eligible candidates options for recruitment and career growth. Participation in the event is completely free of cost.
Several reputed companies have confirmed their presence, including Blinkit, DSETS India, Retrofit Technology, Hariom Feeds, Sanvi Green Tech, LIC, Chaitanya India, and SCM Garments. Along with these larger employers, local recruiters such as Shri Gopal Auto, Kushgram Khadi Udyog, City Cart, Style Bazaar, and Shri Leather will also be part of the fair, conducting on-site selection processes.
Apart from recruitment, various government departments will set up stalls to offer training, self-employment guidance, and startup support information to attendees. Candidates already registered on the National Career Service (NCS) portal are encouraged to attend, and those not yet enrolled can register at the mela venue itself or visit the district planning office beforehand.
Officials have urged all eligible youth to make the most of this opportunity by attending the job fair, highlighting that the event could serve as a stepping stone toward stable employment and skill enhancement.
