📍 Introduction

The famous Baba Mahendranath Dham in Siwan, Bihar witnessed a massive surge of devotees during the Vaisakhi Mela 2026, as thousands gathered to offer prayers on the auspicious occasion of Vaisakhi Shivratri. 🛕 History of Baba Mahendranath Temple

The temple holds immense historical and mythological importance.

  • Located in Mehdar village, around 30–35 km from Siwan district headquarters
  • The temple is believed to be over 500 years old

According to legend, the king was suffering from a severe skin disease. After taking a bath in the nearby pond and offering prayers to Lord Shiva, he was miraculously cured. Following a divine vision, he built the temple at the same site.
